PA Farm Show

The girls were lucky to go to the PA Farm Show in Harrisburg today on a field trip with school. They took many pictures with their NEW digital cameras they got for Christmas. I am only sharing a few with you, as they took many, many pictures of chickens, and other livestock, which I have never seen before. This is the largest indoor agriculture event in America, http://pafarmshow.org!! I was sorry to have missed it, but I am currently extremely busy at the Church trying to get all the year-end stuff done! Carley had a wonderful time in her group which was chaperoned by Mark (our good friend). Casey, on the other hand, cried when she got home. She was not fond of the chaperon who was in charge of her group. And that is all I will say about that....See, I should have gone!

Bessie the cow (?)

Mary had a little lamb (?)

Carley snapped this action shot

900 pounds of butter was used in this sculpture

pretty cool, huh?

I have no idea what this critter is... do you Tracey G.?

Smile, you're on candid camera!

Me? Why are you asking me? I only have 4 gerbils, 3 cats, 2 horses, 2 rabbits, 1 dog, and a partridge in a pear tree. I am just kidding about the partridge...

I beleive it is an adorable baby goat. As a matter of fact, I am positive it is. It is just standing in a weird position.

Glad I could help!

Thanks for your help Tracey. I knew you would know what it was. I am not as familiar with farm animals!
