Fun Monday - My Favorite Talisman(s)

Am I the only one who had to Google the word "talisman"? Maybe I just lead a sheltered life up here in the hills of hickville with my limited vocabulary. Anyway, many thanks to Misanthrope, for making this Fun Monday a learning experience for me! As our Hostess for Fun Monday, "M" has asked:

Do you have a piece of jewelry or other item that holds great personal significance for you, and that you wear or keep with you every day? Show us a photo of your talisman, and tell us why it is so important to you.

Besides the most beautiful and endearing piece of jewelry that I own - my .80 ct. diamond, set in platinum Vatche' wedding ring (pictured below), which I adorn every single day of my life as a symbol of my everlasting love to my wonderful devoted husband, (are you gagging yet??) I would like to share a unique bracelet that I purchased for myself a few years ago.

At first, I purchased this bracelet in hopes of giving it to someone special as a Christmas gift, but when I got it home and tried it on, I simply could not part with it. The Colorful bracelet goes beyond fashion with a Bible story to illustrate. Each bead, charm, and link represents an integral part of the life of Christ, from the star above the manger, the birth of Jesus, fishers of men, 12 apostles, the cross, the blood of Christ for our redemption, resurrection, ascension, and God's love for us. Scroll down for the complete story of the bracelet and what each bead symbolizes.

I am always amazed as to how much work that little ring on the left finger take, and the wearer should take great pirde.

Great bracelet :) I've done something like that with colours for Easter with a group of young kids. It's great to have something visible like that.
And your wedding ring is fabulous! (gag!)
Thanks for sharing with us.

I may need to get one of those bracelets for my mother-in-law. She would absolutely adore it!
