How About A Little Quiche?

Happy Friday everyone! I am mentally and physically headed over to Tracey's at Nine Acres today for a short photo lesson and a friendly visit. I love taking pictures, but I need to "get off the green square" and this is what Tracey will hopefully help me with today. It is so nice to have a photography expert in the family!

I have made the most delicious quiche to take with me so we won't become famished from working so hard.  It is called Sausage Apple Quiche and I found the recipe online. Click on the photo of the recipe to enlarge. Be sure to scroll down to see my handy kitchen gadget that played an important role in the baking of my quiche.

Here is a great kitchen gadget that is a MUST have before you bake your Thanksgiving pies! See the round aluminum gadget covering my crust? It is called a Pie Crust Shield and it protects the crust from burning or becoming too crisp. I purchased mine from Pampered Chef, but I have seen them in Walmart and other kitchen stores.

Hopefully, I will be able to post some photos of what techniques I learn today. So, Tracey if you happen to be reading this first thing this morning, I am a hands-on, quick learner and I am not only looking forward to becoming a better picture taker, but I cannot wait to dig my fork into that quiche! *drool*

Yum! I can't wait for you to get here! I am running on 3 hours of sleep, which is WAY too little for me, so I will need that quiche for some energy!

Sounds fun .. wish I could have come along for both the photo tips and the quiche. It's a gorgeous day for photos. Can't wait to see what you learn.

Awww *pout* I wish I was there. I will admit that I don't like eggs (as if you needed further proof of my strangeness) so quiche and omelettes and such aren't my thing. But I'll bet your quiche is delicious!

That gadget in the last pic does look nifty and fabulous.

I have a handy kitchen gadget that plays a big role in all of my meals too! It's called...drumroll please...The Telephone, with a special accessory called Speed Dial, sometimes known as The Pizza Place!

*giggle* Suffice to say, I am not even 1/10th of the chef that you are, my friend. Can't wait to see the pics from your and Tracey's fun day together!

The quiche looks great and I think you already take great photos. I can't wait to see how what you learn today helps you improve.
