November Birthdays

Seems we need to make room for yet another November birthday in our family. Yep, our family has just been enlarged by 2 feet - two tiny little feet of a sweet, precious baby boy born November 3rd to my neice, Korin and her husband Danny. I got to visit baby "G" for the first time today. He is simply perfect in every way and we welcome him with joy and celebration into our family.

Baby "G" and I have something in common. Not only are we both cute as a button, but we were both born in the month of November and I am happy to share my birthday month with him. I celebrated my special day on Saturday at Baltimore's best crab house,  Bo Brooks on the Canton waterfront. We went to eat crabs with my Dad and his wife, along with my sister and her husband. The crabs were delicious and I thank my Dad and Nancy for treating all of us to a wonderful evening!  I am very blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family remember me on my special day.  Thank you to everyone. You have touched my heart and I am truly grateful.

A toast to another great year!

Sisterly love...

He's a cute little guy for sure. He looks like his daddy.

Glad you enjoyed your birthday. I'm glad we could all be there to help you celebrate.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TOOOO YOUUUU my friend! (Hey, what I lack in punctuality, I make up for in volume.) And happy birthday to Baby G too! You are right - November now boasts 2 cute-as-a-button birthday honorees!

Thank you so much for visiting my FM! You said that you didn't get to join in, but for my money, this post totally qualifies for this week's theme!

And you asked about the renovations - the work is done (phew) and things are back to normal, or as normal as they ever get. We had some icky old linoleum taken out of the kitchen and bathrooms, and we had it replaced with lovely new tile. Now - hehehe - the bathroom fixtures (bathtubs, etc.) look bad. Or so I'm telling J :-) It's like when you paint 1 wall and you realize how grungy the other walls are...yeah...good luck to me. *giggle*

If I don't get to visit before Thanksgiving, here's wishing you and yours a safe and happy holiday! Thank you for being my bloggy friend - I am so grateful for you!

So we share a birthday month, Church Lady? Mine's the 14th, how about you? The new baby is precious--I love the way his hair grows around his temples. I've been enjoying the photography in your latest posts, especially of the family outings and activities. You are looking just lovely and are an inspiration to all of us who are trying to lose a few pounds. And of course, can never get enough Cooper!

Have a great Thanksgiving holiday--hope it's a four day weekend for you!
