Cracker Bark

My galfriend, Deanna shared another one of her wonderful recipes with me and now I am sharing it with you! It is very quick and easy to make. See the steps below:

What you need:
Saltine crackers
1 - 11.5 oz. bag milk chocolate chips
Melted butter
Crushed pecans or any candy toppings
Cookie sheet

1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Line a cookie sheet with saltines

3. Brush each cracker with melted butter
4. Evenly spread entire bag of chocolate chips on top of the saltines

5. Bake in oven for 2 to 3 minutes or just long enough for the chocolate chips to melt
6. Spread the melted chocolate evenly to cover each cracker

7. Sprinkle with your favorite topping and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the chocolate to harden.

8. Break apart into pieces and enjoy!

I've done this with graham crackers, but never saltines! Hmmmm ....

Next time try white chocolate chips & crushed mint candies.

I love sweet and salty. We put M&M's in our popcorn. I agree with Quilly anything is good with white chocolate. Has become my new addiction.

Wish mine turned out like yours...left mine in the oven to long and the chips carmelized. It was a mess!
