End of The Noughties

How will you celebrate the end of this decade, otherwise known as the noughties? Stay at home? Go out to dinner? Party with friends? However you decide to usher in 2010, I wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year! For those of you who may be staying at home, but want to feel like you are at Times Square in New York City, click the link below for a live webcast of the celebration.

We are taking my in-laws out to eat for their anniversary and then coming home. I hate to be on the roads with so many drunks, so we usually spend the holiday quietly at home. Besides, we're usually too pooped from Christmas to do much. I guess we're getting old. LOL.

Happy New Year!!

Hello, my friend! My goodness - you are a fabulous photographer. The Deep Creek Lake trip sounded fabulous!!

I hope you had a good New Year's Eve. I spent my evening in my most favorite way: cuddled up on the sofa with knitting and a certain most adorable Boy Cat, watching the Twilight Zone marathon on TV :-) I've never been what you would call a party animal so this was just right for me! Here's wishing you a happy and healthy 2010!

Ours was quiet but nice. I couldn't imagine getting into that mob scene at NYC for New Years Eve. I just fine with watching it on TV.

We just stayed home. I baked chocolate banana cake and we had a lot of food, enough reason to stay home, lol

Happy new year to you and to your family, and may 2010 be your best ever!

Btw, I'm hosting Fun Monday, we'll be glad to have you around on Monday. :)
