It's time to stop hiding behind that camera of yours. Your family is missing you in the picture. So it's time to post a picture of YOU (yes, you) every Thursday with your child, your spouse, your friend, your dog, or even by yourself. Just get in the picture, you'll be glad you did! Sign up to play below and grab the "Shoot Me" Button code to the right.
I have created a mosaic for this week's Shoot Me challenge. It is a collection of photos from our Sisters In Christ St. Patrick's Day celebration. The first three photos show me playing a fun game. I shall call it the "Garden Glove Relay Race". Here is how you play:
- Divide everyone into two equal teams.
- Give the first person on each team a pair of garden gloves and a pack of unopened chewing gum. The stick kind works best. Juicy Fruit is a good choice.
- The game begins with the first person on each team putting on the garden gloves, opening the pack of gum, removing one piece of chewing gum and then unwrapping the gum. When they have completed this task, they pass the garden gloves to the next person on their team to do the same and so on.
- The first team to complete Step 3 is the winner! (A good prize suggestion is a pack of chewing gum for each winning team player.)
Players may choose not to chew the gum they open, so they can simply lick it and stick it on the bottom of a chair or table. Hee hee. Just making sure you are paying attention!
Another game we played was "Hot Potato". Players simply pass a potato from person to person while listening to music. When the music stops, the person holding the potato is out. The last player holding the potato is the winner! (One person has to be responsible for playing and stopping the music and not peek while the potato is being passed). We listened to Irish Celtic music while playing this game.
These are some fun games to play in any group setting. You can tweek the games to your liking.
