Random Friday Thoughts

  • I think my 12 year old daughter has digested a chicken nugget Happy Meal from McDonald's at least once a week, if not more, for the past 10 years.
  • I would rather watch paint dry than sit and watch 60 girls and boys throw shot put and discus one at a time over and over and over and over....
  • I am so ready to wear my flip flops, but it just keeps raining.
  • I wish the pounds would come off effortlessly.
  • I hope my capris still fit me.
  • It would be nice if I could pay my taxes with a smile, but unfortunately cash is required.
  • I'm so glad it's Friday and I have the day off!
  • If gas prices keep rising, I'll have to buy a gallon as an investment.
  • I'm looking forward to dying Easter eggs on Sunday.
  • I pray for safe travels for my mom and husband as they will be driving home today from their GA vacation.
  • That lasagna I ate last night was awesome thanks to my sister for preparing it!
  • If I were any better today, I'd be a twin (Brodism).
  • I have no idea what Emancipation Day is.
  • Hmmm, should I vote for Donald Trump in 2012?
Happy Friday Everyone - - and for your information, the traditional tax return filing deadline is April 15 of each year, but the IRS has approved April 18, 2011 as the tax filing deadline for 2010 Tax Returns and extension requests in observation of Emancipation Day in the District of Columbia. So there you go - you have 3 extra days to file! Yahoo! Now that is worth celebrating!

Are you trying to say you've always been emancipated, or that you're still a slave? For me it depends on the mood I am in ...

Ok I just came straight over from Swampy's place and was LIKE looking for the LIKE in all these statements! LOL

That child is LIKE adorable! I so so miss having a little girl in the house! Mine are all grown and either gone or out partying! How rude!

Why can't you wear your flip flops in the rain? Aside from slipping over, You could just go bare foot you know! Oh confessions, I actually bought a pair of shoes today. Shock horror, (yes I don't really own shoes) but I have somewhere I have to go soon that is apparently cold. How will I survive I wonder???? LOL

The federal government is no longer limited by our constitution and the debt of our country is so great that we are all now slaves through our taxed income of our labor. The simple act of Emancipation can not resolve this most challenging issue, it will require an informed citizenry relying less on a federal government that promises to take care of us from the cradle to the grave and returning to our families and local communities for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Ice cream from the local store is happiness.

enjoyed reading your random thoughts; believe you me, although we are getting a refund this year, there have been many a year where we have had to pay and pay BIG (self employed years when we underestimated). I always was reminded what Jesus said "to give to Cesaer what was Cesear's" and (somewhat) grateful I had to give. But I do understand believe you me!! Lasagna yum!!

I'm with you about the capris, but I bet you'll get it together to be able to fit into them come summer! I actually moved one time and when I packed the capris/pants I couldn't fit into that's how I labeled the box "pants I can't fit into". Sadly a few years later I'm still trying to fit into them.....

enjoy the weekend!!

I hope my capris fit me to. My man-pris. Gas is expensive there. I mean, even more than here. Bummer.

Chicken McNuggets can not be used in a sentence in a good way.

Great list. Trump? He's going to have to prove to me he's got something going on other than his mouth in order for me to even consider voting for him.

I've been saying a prayer for a month now that my capri's still fit. I haven't found the courage just yet to pull them on.

I would rather paint a whole house than sit at a kids wrestling meet! gag me!!!!! Track isn't as bad, but the field events are always pretty boring. I like the relays the best.

I probably should tell anyone but I would have voted for Trump in 2012. Why not get a business man in there rather than a politician?
