Teenage Daughters

Here it is June already. The end of the school year has come to a close, we already got our first vacation of the summer in, Father's Day is just around the corner and my two beautiful teenage daughters celebrate their birthdays this month. That's right folks, I said teenage daughters.... yikes!

I ain’t complainin’
But I’m just tired, so I’m sayin’
What I think
If we’re being honest
Than honestly, I think I need a drink

Their beautiful, wild and free
Everything we wish we could be
But their still crazy
Oh you know, they make us crazy

Remember when we use to be

Everything they ever need
We had them believing we were cool
It’s like it happened over night
We’re always wrong, their always right
We use to be the one’s breakin’ the rules
Now we’re just mothers, we’re just fathers of
Teenage Daughters

Martina McBride – Teenage Daughters Lyrics

Wish me luck!

Eat your Wheaties! They are just lovely and--at least in photos--seem to like each other. That's good!

they are beautiful!! hang on tight and enjoy the ride! and PRAY every single day for them!! Believe you me, I'm glad those days are over here, they were some of the toughest ones I've lived through, but God is faithful and God protected. JUST PRAY!!

Kelly; you have the best of the best. Cherish them and help them get thru the tough times. You're very lucky to have these two gems.

they are beautiful. The last of our 4 daughters will be going away to college in September. Our son is stationed across the country with the Coast Guard. The teen years seem to fly by so quickly. I think that might be because God knows that those teens will make a parent crazy!

It will be fine...but I do recommend a lot of prayer during those years. LOL.

I bet they are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. You might have a few bumps here in there, but in the long run you'll all be just fine. After all, your parents survived their teenage daughters!

Oh I don't think you need any luck! They are gorgeous and all innocent looking too! LOL I am so missing having my girls at home. The one teen girl I have left has been in Miami for the past few weeks and I am here with grumpy teenage boys! Well one grumpy teenage boy and one almost teenage hyper child who likes to annoy his brother! I think the teenage boy years are looking a lot different to the girl ones. Oh well, always new things to learn hey?
