Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat
Smell my feet
Give me something good to eat!

Yes, the actual Halloween holiday is a week away, but here in my neck of the woods, Trick or Treat comes early (more than a week early) for the kiddos. It's been a town tradition for years, and I still don't know why.

How cute, but is there a definite day they tell you people will be coming by trick or treating? Or is it random? Personally I think trick or treating in the light is so much safer than at night :)

I love your edit on the second shot! Pa has some very different rules...Hanover does not want anything to interfer with their beloved Halloween parade..but this year trick or treating is a whole week ahead of time...I don't get it either! Oh well!!

I second that corgi's question. Do you know which day and do you know why? weird.

Fortunate that the little tricksters got to make their rounds early this year with Sandy barreling in. I've had you all in my thoughts, Kelly and hoping that you escape this storm without property damage or physical harm. Keep us posted as you can. Tell Cooper that Aunt Faye hopes he has some milkbones stockpiled!
