Kickoff to Summer and A Clause About Moving

The official kickoff to summer around here begins with the "Codorus Blast", an annual outdoor festival at our local State Park. It is only the second time this year that we've launched C.C. Rider at the lake, and could perhaps be the last time this summer.

As some of you may know, we've sold our home, quite quickly, may I add, and will be moving out the end of July. I know, I know, we're crazy, right? We custom built our dream home over 10 years ago and now we are leaving it all behind. For many family and close friends, it seems they cannot grasp this idea. I do believe they think we have gone nuts. But  we have thought about the decision long and hard. We are now moving on to another chapter in our lives. It's time for us to turn the page, so to speak. All we ask for is love and support from our family and friends. We are indeed happy about our choice and excited to be moving closer to town, modifying and simplifying our lifestyle.  End of explanation.

Unfortunately there's no more time for the pontoon boat right now, as packing is a priority *sigh*. I can only hope that we will get some more boating time in before summer's end.

Here are some photos of our kick-off to summer upon C.C. Rider. Check out the "super moon" in my pics and the Keystone dock dogs jumping.

If it's the last ride on CC Rider, well then, I feel satisfied. Love all of the pictures especially the fireworks and the kids jumping off the rope. Thanks for all of the fun memories.

Wishing you a smooth move and much happiness in your new home, Kelly. Oh, and don't forget to color-code those moving boxes--you know, green for kitchen, etc. :-) Makes it much easier to "boss" the movers!
