Green Green Wine


I'm no wine connoisseur, but I do love my wine. Any kind of wine is fine. Red, white, blue, green, rose', sparkling, fortified - - you name it - - I like it. Especially the cheap wines. I've had my share of guzzling sipping $6, $12 and $20 bottles of wine along with one or two $40+ bottles of wine in my lifetime. And honestly, I can't tell the difference between the cheaper ones and the more costly ones.


Lately though, my husband and I have been drinking organic wines. There are very few organic wines for sale, but most liquor stores will carry at least one or two brands. These wines do come with a higher price tag, but they also come with increased health benefits. No pesticides or chemicals are used in making organic wine. Also, organic wine contains less sulfites (a sulfurous acid used for wine preservation) than your traditional wine, which is healthier for your body.  Plus, these "earth friendly" wines tend to produce less "morning after headaches".

Go ahead and try an organic wine. It won't kill ya (literally). Here is a link for some of the best.

I have to disagree. The fermenting and aging processes determine the tastes and price tags of wine. I really am digging the organic wine, though. No headache for me the next morning so...keep buying it.
