I've always admired this painted portrait of my mom. Her eyes are as blue as the canvas. I am not sure what year this was from. Perhaps you can enlighten us, mom?
If you have a spare minute, please hop on over to Life According To Jan and Jer and wish my mom a happy birthday! It will mean the world to her!
Your birthday...
a time for warm thoughts
and fond memories,
for expressing
the feelings and words
that often go unspoken,
for letting you
the special person
in my life know
that you are loved
and appreciated -
always.
Happy Birthday Mom
I'm headed over there right now to wish her a Happy Birthday. Somehow, I'm sure she'll make it a great day.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I am in shock...I forgot you even had that portrait. Here is the history behind it...that is my HS senior yearbook photo. Thanks so much for the B.day tribute...sniff sniff as a tear runs down my face! Love U, Mom xoxo... BTW...the hair style was called a "flip"
