Today we celebrate St. Patrick's Day, a religious holiday celebrated internationally. The holiday is named after the Saint Patrick, who was the most commonly known patron saint of Ireland. It was Saint Patrick who converted many people to Christianity. St. Patrick's Day is celebrated not only as a mark of respect to a great saint, but also as a reflection of the cultural tradition of Ireland.

I prepared cupcakes for me Women's Fellowship Meeting tonight. We will be having a St. Patty's Day celebration with fun games and lots of "green" goodies. No green beer though. Shucks.
