If you are ever in Hanover, Pennsylvania during the month of March, you will not want to miss the opportunity to tour Hanover Shoe Farms. It is during this month that the foals are born. I just happened to be out last Friday on a perfect spring day taking photos and I was led to the farm not knowing that every stall in two barns were full of baby horses. Some born that very day. Here are some photos of my visit (some not so good because of the lighting).
This might be just the thing that my boys would like to do in S. PA. Too bad we won't be there this month.

ReplyDeleteWow...you got some awesome pics...it was hard to see over the stall doors to get a good shot. Love your textures. It is so nice to have such a great place so close to our home!!!

ReplyDeleteHow fun is that! All babies are sooo cute. Lady 423 looks like she was "rode hard and put away wet." Love horse pictures. I hope to practice with my new camera this week at the riding academy.
