Oh how I love the smell of blooming lilacs - the official smell of spring time, don't you think? They are so fragrant. It just doesn't seem fair that they only bloom for a short time. I look forward to bringing a fresh cut bouquet into my home every spring.

ReplyDeleteIt's the abundance of spring flowers that I love--to be able to cut an arm load of lilacs for the house and not even miss them. And now it's almost peony time--an even more lovely fragrance.
