Another Tea Review

On Friday, we had another delectable tea, this time at Gypsy's in Westminster, MD. (To read my previous post review on The Ladybug Tea Room in East Berlin, PA, click here.) Joining me and the girls on Friday were Mom, Kirsten and her mom and Katie. Gypsy's Tea Room and Inspirations gift shop is located in the oldest standing home in Westminster, the William Winchester Inn on Stoner Ave. Gypsy's has five different rooms all decorated and named differently in the Old English style, including an upstairs and a screened-in Veranda, where you can dine outside. Gypsy's boasts a quaint atmosphere for enjoying the many varieties of teas and warm home-made scones with clotted cream and jam. The girls were seated at a separate table and were served a slightly different menu at a slightly lower cost, which was catered more towards what kids like such as ham and cheese sandwiches. Our "Full Afternoon Tea" began with hot zucchini soup and cinnamon raisin scones. A 3-tier platter was served with a variety of fresh fruit, tea sandwiches, savories and assorted sweets. A refreshing lemon sorbet cleansed our pallets and topped us off. We were stuffed! A delightful time was had by all and I claim Gypsy's Tea Room as one of my favorites~!
