That's what they call it when you have your pup's "you know whats" cut off! Poor Cooper, he does not even know what hit em! We waited a year to have this procedure done to allow time for his head and neck to be done growing, per the recommendation of the breeder. If we had the procedure done earlier, his head and neck would not have been fully developed. Here are few pics of Cooper sporting his new head gear. He has has to wear this for two weeks, or at least while he is not being supervised. He needs to keep his incision clean and dry. (No licking down there Coop!) By the way, Cooper's 1 year birthday is tomorrow! Happy Birthday boy!

Oh for goodness sake, the poor thing! We had to do the same thing with Buddy. Maybe that is why he is so skinny. Maybe we did the deed a bit too early!
