My forever friend from long ago, Mitz, is the proud owner and operator of her very own Thrift Shop, Totalee Funkee, located in historic, downtown Westminster, MD. She has owned and operated her own shop for about 6 months now and her business is thriving! She is an entrepreneur through and through. I recently helped her create a blog for her business. You can check it out here.
I am impressed with her management skills and her brilliant business ideas. Mitz recently created the Funkee Collection, a unique collection of gently used clothing for men and women. The Thrift Shop is located within close proximity to McDaniel College, therefore, she gets a steady flow of college kids coming in and requesting unique articles of clothing. A special tag was designed to indicate the Funkee Collection line. This is only one of many creative ideas Mitz has come up with for her thrifty business. When you get a chance, stop by her blog and say hello! She will be having giveaways every now and then. And, if you live nearby, feel free to stop by Totalee Funkee Thrift Shop where you will find a wide variety of gently used clothing and household items, some from none other than my household!
Mitz is a fun-loving Christian gal and she is one of my true life-long friends. Here she is pictured on the steps of her Thrift Shop. Her daughter is also pictured.

Mitz is perfect for this type of business because of her creative ideas and personality. I hope her shop continues to thrive.
I love a good thrift shop. It's where I bought my winter coats when I was in college.
