Last Friday was my Dad's birthday and to help him celebrate, my sister and I and our husbands joined my Dad and his wife, Nancy for a special outing in Baltimore, MD. We went to the American Visionary Arts Museum and took in all the whimsical and outrageous 3-D exhibits, paintings, cartoons, and many other works of art that either made you smile or scratch your head and say, "huh?"
We spent a good three hours at the museum, but sorry...no photography allowed. I was able to capture a few works of art displayed outside though.
This may not look like a work of art to you, but it is to me! Could he be on the cover of G-Q or what?

We then headed to a quaint restaurant in Baltimore's Little Italy called Amicci's. The dinner was delizioso!! A red velvet cheese cake was served to the birthday boy to top off his special day!!
I would like to send out a heartfelt thanks to my dad and Nancy for their generosity in treating all of us to a wonderful fun-filled day!
