My Royal Name

In honor of William and Kate's Big Day, I thought it would be fun to come up with a Royal Name. You know, so we can pretend we are from royalty. So, here is how you come up with your royal name. First, if you are a female, begin with "Lady" and if you are a male begin with "Lord". Your first name is one of your grandparent's names. Your surname is your pet's name double-barreled with the name of the street you grew up on.

Here is what I came up with:

Lady Muriel Cooper-Castle

Now I know some of you will be glued to your tellies today watching William and Kate tie one on tie the knot and some may be having a Royal Wedding Watching Party, complete with your plastic tiaras and tea and crumpets. Not me though. I will be having a redneck diner breakfast with my mom and sister then off to Cross Creek Farms for their spring open house. I'm sure the royal wedding will consume the media for the entire day and I will most certainly be able to catch the highlights for weeks to come.

So, what royal name did you come up with my lady/lord?

I will have to give that one some thought. I wouldn't want to be the queen though. I'd rather be a princess.

It would be fun to be a princess for a day. Let's see you can call me Lady Mildred Kaina-Castle

Wel I'll be Lady Rainey Rowdy-Kiser. I did have English high tea today, but it was just an opportunity to drink really good tea and eat scones with clotted cream.

Watched the wedding, minus cable chatter, on Brit royalty channel. Sounds like your day was an annual tradition?

Lady Josephine Isabella-Chisholm (I am going with Bella's name as Miko just sounds silly. LOL)

I was gone in the morning, but caught up later on. Now, tell the truth. Did you really grow up on Castle street?
I grew up on a small ranch and didn't really have an address, just a PO box number But that doesn't sound cool -- we did have a 1000 ft lane leading to town. We weren't too creative with naming our animals, either--Bossy, Pretty and Cutie the cows --Suzie the dog, recycled that name twice--West, Sunny, Honda the horses. Our only indoor pet was a cat.
So... Lady Mary Shadow-Lane

Nice one.

Mine is Lord Max Stormy-Westminster.

We really should have got some male pets as a kid.
