I remember being 15 and having a boyfriend. In fact, my then boyfriend is my now husband. But I had no idea at the time we would ever end up married. We dated for about 4 years and then broke up. We remained close friends after we broke up but the important thing is we moved on from each other and we both experienced other relationships. It wasn't until I was about 25 years old that we ended up back together and shortly thereafter got married.
I remember those days very well. And now I am watching my oldest daughter experience those same exact feelings I did way back when. Being the parent of a teenage daughter is not an easy job.

I'm not quite ready for my kids dating yet! But my husband and I also broke up for a little while when we were just dating.
