Daytona Beach Bike Week has been a tradition since 1937, where the first motorcycle race took place on a 3.2 mile beach and road course. Since then, Bike Week has grown into a 10-day event with thousands of bikers and spectators (like myself) from all over the country. Bike Week is more than wet t-shirt contests, racing, trophies, drinking, scantily clad women, and expensive bikes. It's all about the people - the musicians, the artists, the hobbyists, the veterans and the entrepreneurs. During my recent mini vacation to Daytona Florida, I enjoyed photographing some of the people of Bike Week.

Great pics. Definitely some interesting sights. I was dressed way too conservative for that crowd. Next time, I'm wearing my leather chaps!
