Feeling gloomy about the weather? Here in the Southern part of Pennsylvania, it's been dreary and rainy all day. Everyone is anxious to plant their flowers and vegetable gardens, but the general rule of thumb is to wait until after Mother's Day. Until then, the risk of a frost could still occur at night, which could kill off your delicate vegetation.
Many of life's greatest things come to those who wait. "April showers bring May flowers" is a lesson in patience. It is a reminder that even the most unpleasant of things, like yucky rain, can bring about very enjoyable things - - in this case, beautiful, fragrant May flowers. So, put on your favorite galoshes and have your umbrella handy...and be thankful for the gentle spring rain.

Love it! That umbrella is so bright n pretty on a gloomy day!
As long as you have a pretty umbrella shielding you from the rain drops, a walk in the gloomy weather can be exhilarating.
Love how you did this post ; )
