The number of things I will miss about our Glenville, PA home and property are too numerous to mention. We have built up over ten years of heartwarming memories, and not to mention, lots and lots of excess "stuff" from furniture to tools to play toys. I never realized how much stuff we had until we started packing it up! And now, we will have to cleverly find a way to fit it all into our much smaller, yet practical new home. Ah yes, it will feel good to eventually purge and simplify. Yet, I can't help but feel sentimental. Even now, as I type this post, I am feeling a bit weepy. We are leaving our dream home and our beautiful secluded park-like property that we spent countless hours of maintaining and grooming. I believe Cooper will miss it the most, though. How do you mentally prepare your pet for moving??
On the other hand, my feelings of excitement are escalating. I am excited for change and a beautiful brand new home. There are new memories to be made and a bright future for our family to build upon. And for that, I am forever grateful - - thanks be to God!
I may be MIA over the next few days or so as we settle in and dig our way out of boxes. No worries though, I'm sure I'll have time to post some status updates on Facebook. If you haven't found me on FB yet, click the tab at the top of my blog and send me a friend request!

Best of luck for a smooth move, Kelly. Exciting but always must be some concerns. Just put Cooper's bowl and bed in a good spot where he can "supervise" all the activities. Will be looking for peeks of the new digs on FB. Eat your wheaties and watch your back--literally!

Ok...now you got me crying! Been there done that a few times..so I found that home is truely where your heart is! You do have lots of happy memories in this house n it will always hold a special place in your heart! Change is good so now its time! Looking forward to being part of new memorable times in your new home!!! You guys are not going to know what to do with all your free time now!!!
