Each time we have taken Cooper to the Park, he has not even attempted to get in the lake. If any of you are educated on the Labrador Retriever breed, you will know that Labs LOVE to swim! So, Hugh was sure to get him swimming this time! However, it took some coaxing and Hugh had to get in with his dungaree shorts and work boots on to finally get Cooper to realize that, hey, this is fun... I CAN swim!! Each time we threw out a stick or something for him to fetch, he went further and further out. I don't think the next time we take him to the lake that he will even think twice about diving in! He was surely pooped by the time we got home!
