Tea At Mom's

Mom hosted a lovely tea party at her home on Friday, October 12th. Tracy, Aunt Alice and I were the lucky guests in attendance. We began our tea party with a hot steamy pot of authentic English tea (directly from England). Jerry just returned from England from a visit with his son. Tea was served in delicate china which also came directly from England - how elegant! A fruit cup topped with coconut was the first course. It was very refreshing. Secondly, fresh, hot, cinnamon apple scones were served with home made Devon shire creme - TO DIE FOR!!! Our third course was a homemade pumpkin soup with a dollop of sour creme! I was getting stuffed by this time. The fourth course was served on a two tier platter and included a variety of cucumber and chicken salad sandwiches on mini rye bread. (Is your mouth watering yet?) Lastly, mini cheesecakes, chocolates, homemade fudge and cookies concluded our tea. The atmosphere and service was excellent! I give this tea room an A++++
