Fun Monday - Why Do I Blog??

Bee Dancer is the host of Fun Monday and this is the assignment:

Tell me why you Blog. Tell me how you got started or why you got started and why you keep it up. Plus there's a requirement: Post a picture of the one person/place/thing that most symbolizes the town or area where you live.

I have been a blogger for over a year now and it is amazing how addicted I have become, but I am certain that I am not the only blogger who is addicted to blogging. (Does anyone have a t-shirt for this yet?) I have allotted time every day to sit down and blog and there are times when my husband will get upset that I have been "hogging" the computer and tells me I will get "blogger butt" (_!_) for blogging too long. However, I like to refer to blogging as my hobby and way of journal keeping.

My blogging began after regular visits over at Nine Acres. I was so intrigued by her writing, photography and creativity and therefore, was inspired to begin my own. I blog to keep my family and friends informed about day to day events that occur in my most important life (ha!) and to keep an on-going journal for myself. It is especially great fun making new blogger friends too!!

The below photo symbolizes the town in which I live. It is one of the reasons we moved to this area of PA 5 years ago. We live 1 mile from this beautiful lake and State park and we often visit the park to enjoy all of the amenities it has to offer! Not to mention, a place for Cooper to swim and chase the geese!
