Somehow I did not think I would see this day come. Well, I knew it would come, I just didn't think it would come so quickly. And here it is already, my daughter's 13th birthday. She is officially a teenager TODAY! Not a day goes by that I do not laugh at something Carley has said or done. Of course, not a day goes by that my blood pressure stays within range because of something Carley has done or said! But I really can't complain, she has developed into a beautiful young lady who is smart, caring and funny!
Please join me in wishing Carley a very happy birthday. Does anyone have any helpful advice for parents of children who are entering the adolescent years? HELP!

All I can say is get your nerve pills ready. The teen years are quite challenging. I could not play your video, check it out. Many hugs and kisses go out to my first born grandbaby. Happy Birtday Carley,
Keep smiling and making people laugh, you are the sun shine of my life.
Carley is turning into quite the young lady. She is beautiful on the inside and out and I'm so proud of her. Happy Birhtday Carley girl!!
What a beautiful girl...even with her face all contorted! Happy 13th Carly!
Happy Birthday, Carly! May this year bring you great joy!
So, Mom, you've done good so far. Just remember, keep the lines of communication open. Listen, even when you'd rather not. Respect is a two way street. And try (this is the hard part) to always react in love, not anger. God will help.
Happy 13th. Carly. May your entrance into teendom be rewarding to you and may you learn a lot. Be smarter and wiser by the time you reach the big 20. Have a great B'day and year for that matter.
JLG
