"Farmers" we are not. "Gardeners" would be saying alot. But, one look at these veggies and you'll be thinking... "Cream of the Crop!"
As Mater says, "I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park!" Cause we got maters and Sasquash comin' out r ears! Kudos to farmer FW for raising his vegetation from seedlings to fully grown thriving plants. The jalapeno and pepper plants are producing well too. Although the peppers are a little on the small side and we aren't quite sure what to do with all the jalapenos. As a matter of fact, I'm certain we'll have enough jalapenos to supply a Mexican restaurant for over a year! One of my blogger friends has an awesome recipe for jalapeno poppers. So, I'm thinking I will git out my poncho and Mexican hat, grab me a margarita and fry me up some poppers. I'll let you know how they turn out, senoritas~
Until then, I'll be eating grilled tomato and cheese sandwiches and sauteed squash with stewed tomatoes for a week a month a very long time!
